## About This Policy

The document linked below is a standard GDPR privacy notice. It is a copy of the [ICO template](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/sme-web-hub/make-your-own-privacy-notice/) with more examples and a little formatting.

The best practice is to put this policy on your website with a link to it in your website footer and in your standard email signatures.

## Who Needs This Policy

If you are in or do business in the EU or UK you need this policy. For more details, see the [GDPR Compliance Guide](/v1/docs/gdpr-compliance-guide).

The rules are more strict if you are soliciting people or selling a product with personal data; in this circumstance, use a policy and privacy notice from your attorney.
